THE PROPOSED CAMPAIGN
Recognizing that Grabfood users often send food to friends by entering their addresses, I aimed to streamline and formalize this process into an official feature. Now, users can effortlessly send food by selecting their contact, specifying the occasion, and adding a personalized message.
The recipient receives a notification and a customized digital receipt with the event's name (prices excluded). Users can save this receipt as a PNG for social media posts and keepsakes.
This user-driven sharing boosts visibility and engagement for the Grab app, encouraging more people to utilize Grab for gifting as well as personal use.
SOCIAL MEDIA: CAMPAIGN AWARENESS
The campaign will be showcased on Instagram through a four-part carousel to ensure concise and engaging content. This will run concurrently with Instagram advertisements to maximize visibility and engage a targeted audience.
OUT OF HOME ADVERTISING
Other campaign touchpoints will be positioned at bus stops to engage a broader audience.
The larger billboard is intended to complement the smaller main one, offering additional context.
SOCIAL MEDIA USE CASE: Sharing GrabFood Gift Receipts
By saving the receipts they receive, they can share them on social media accompanying pictures of the food their friends send them. This helps increase visibility and engagement for the Grab app, providing organic advertisement through user interactions.
The receipts introduce a playful variation to the current GrabFood receipts. This keeps them recognizable yet distinct, allowing people to easily connect them with GrabFood.

FINAL THOUGHTS AND NOTES
This personal project was an interesting exercise in merging all my design skills into one cohesive campaign. One of the key challenges I faced was developing the Figma prototype, as it required careful consideration of how the gifting feature would affect various stakeholders, such as the store and the delivery driver. While there are still areas for improvement, this project represents my effort to create a logical and seamless process. This experience has significantly enhanced my design thinking and problem-solving abilities, and I look forward to applying these insights to future projects.
